Harbour Terrace Gorleston-on-Sea Norfolk

We are delighted that the Goverment has given us the go ahead to reopen in July.  We will continue to monitor the Government advice closely and will take great care to follow their guidance fully, to protect our guests and ourselves.  Details of the guidance can be found on the Government Website.

We know that the current advice is subject to change and want to reassure you that if the Government has to reintroduce further lockdown measures, either locally or nationally, meaning your holiday can’t take place, then we will of course give you a full refund of any payments made or move your holiday to a future date if you prefer.

Before you arrive…

There are some changes now within the cottage, mainly a new front door and a new bath and shower unit.

We do believe we clean ‘Uno’ to the best of our abilities but current guidelines require us to do deeper 2 stage cleans now between guests.

But it is also strongly advised that we remove all the un-necessaries from the cottage for now.

We will be taking out…

 Cushions and throws from all the beds

 Sofa throw and some cushions

 Some of our books and DVD’s

 Place’s to visit leaflets

 Some of the shelving trinkets

 Possibly some of the less used kitchen items

 Some of the sandpit and other toys/games

We will be providing for our guests…

 Cleaning spray

 Disposable gloves

 Soap and soap dishes for all sinks

 Plastic sacks for laundry

 Hand Sanitiser (subject to availability)

 Also, upon advice a few hand washing reminder posters will be around the cottage

We are still planning to provide…

 Tea, Coffee, Milk & Biscuits

 Sugar (will now be a small sealed pack)

 Our complimentary bottle of wine

Sorry, but there will be NO Flowers, Condiments or our goody bags for the children this year.

Our beds will be made up as usual on arrival (unless our guests let us know before hand that they prefer to bring their own) and we will still provide towels for each guest.

During you stay…

We politely ask our guests during their stay to open windows and help keep the cottage ventilated when possible.

When you leave…

On departure day we ask please for the beds to be stripped and placed in a provided plastic laundry bag and the same for ALL the towels in a separate plastic laundry bag (even if un-used). Also leaving the windows open where practical for ventilation.

Safety and Wellbeing…

The safety, wellbeing and enjoyment for all our guests and ourselves are very important to us and we will try to ensure our decisions are the best for everyone.

 Should either Mark or Myself show any symptoms of Covid19 we will have to close ‘Uno Cottage’ and this may be short notice

 We ask you to help us by, Please – Please do not come to the cottage if you or any family members are feeling unwell or showing any of the virus symptoms. Please DO make contact with us though if this situation arises, all monies paid in either instance will be returned to the guests, with the option of provisionally reserving dates for 2021 if they wish

 Please also let us know ASAP if you leave the cottage before your departure date if someone in your party falls ill with symptoms

 Please be reminded that as of the 4th July only two separate households can/are allowed to meet up together inside a property at any one time. Social distancing should still be in place with anyone outside your household / support bubble

 With government guidelines for track and trace purposes we will need contact details of any person not listed on our booking form, who may have visited you at ‘Uno Cottage’ – this information will be destroyed after 21 days

Thank you in advance for your understanding with these requests
